The restaurant Sauerkraut und Bulgur is situated in the heart of Friedrichshain, just 8 minutes walk from Ostbahnhof station and 2 minutes from Weberwiese station on the U5.

Whether you are going to an event in the O2 Arena, or have tickets for the Postbahnhof, Kriminaltheater or the Alten Feuerwache, you can easily take the time beforehand for a quiet drink or a nice meal at the Sauerkraut as we are just around the corner from all these places.

The Sauerkraut and Bulgur not only offers traditional German cuisine, we also offer our own fusion of German with a touch of Mediterranean giving it that certain something. Take for example our classic: „Fried Zander (typical fish of Berlin-Brandenburg) with creamy Sauerkraut and typical German pasta“ It's an ideal accompaniment to a glass of wine, sitting with friends in our beer garden on a nice sunny day.
